Ayesha C. Kidd, O.D., F.A.A.O., is a native of Vincent, Alabama. After graduating as valedictorian of the class of 2000 at Vincent High school, Dr. Kidd matriculated to the University of Montevallo. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a psychology minor. Later, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry in 2011.
Dr. Kidd is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also an active member of the National Optometric Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Junior League of Mobile and Right Way Christian Center in Mobile, Alabama.
Dr. Kidd enjoys spending time with family and friends, living on the eastern shore and has a new found love for indoor cycling. She loves what she does and takes delight in helping others. In the words of the late Dr. Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel.”
